I'm 31 years old and I've been writing screenplays for over 5 years. It took
me a lot of time and effort
to learn how to write a screenplay. There's a lot of great information out there
and a lot of it is free.
The problem I found was that it is scattered. I'd find a bit here and bit there
but never found one resource
that nailed down how to write a screenplay in a clear and concise manner.
As I was
organizing my research to make
it easier to write screenplays I realized there were probably other screenwriters
out there who were also struggling
to get a cohesive picture of it, so I decided I would compile my research and
experience and write a book on how to write a screenplay.
At first I thought of charging people $19.95 for it since it took me so long to put together, but then I decided against it.
The most important thing to me is to share the information with those who want it. So I hope you find my free E-book:
How to Write a Screenplay useful. If
you do and want to make a donation you may for as little as $1.
If you have any questions about my book please email me and feel free to check out my reasonably priced consultation services and tutorials.
I have pledged to donate 10% of all my online earnings to modestneeds.org.
If you're interested in donating to them check out their website.
There are two other websites I try to visit daily because when you click on their donate buttons
it donates a small portion towards the cause. Because the revenue is generated from sponsors
it doesn't cost you anything to click - and you can click every day to make a contribution.
And no these are not scams I've been donating through my "free click" for over 5 years.
Also if you or someone you know is interested in producing some well-written scripts email me and I'll send you a list of my loglines and synopses.
I have five thrillers, one romantic comedy, one sci-fi trilogy, and one children's story.
