What is Modestneeds.org?

There are times when each of us has struggled to pay a bill. This organization helps people by providing one time contributions to help them get through those hard financial times. I think it's really a great idea that began with one man who needed money to pay his rent or else he would be evicted.

He was in college at the time and just couldn't come up with the rent that month. Fortunately when he mentioned his situation to one of his professors this man gave him the money he needed to pay his rent. He never forgot that. Now that he's a teacher himself, he has made a choice to give $500 of his salary each month to people in similiar situations.

You too can contribute a few dollars one time, or even a little bit each month, or if you cannot afford to give money you can offer your services!
